Why am I not receiving my 6-digit verification login code?Updated 4 months ago

We’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble receiving your 6-digit verification code to log into your Alfred.com account.

Because we use secure, passwordless logins, this code is required to access your account and digital library. If it hasn't arrived in your inbox within a few minutes, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Your Spam or Junk Folders

Automated security emails can occasionally be misidentified by email providers. Please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders to see if the code was filtered there.

2. Is Your School or District Server Blocking Us?

If you are using an official school email address (such as a .edu or .k12 domain), school district firewalls are notoriously strict. Their servers may be completely blocking our domain before the email even reaches your inbox.

  • The Fix: Reach out to your school or district's IT Department and request that they whitelist our email address: [email protected].

3. Try a Different Account/Payment Email

If you recently completed a purchase using Apple Pay, PayPal, or Shop Pay, the code might be going to the email address tied to that specific payment method instead of your work email. Be sure to check that inbox as well!
